Full City Roosters

I took a much-needed break from the blog, which is why there hasn’t been an update or post for some time. Grad school has been insane and I’m exhausted constantly but my kids are adorable and it’s really inspiring work. Even when I want to throw my head against the wall and give up some days, it’s still worth it. I still don’t know how elementary teachers have it together at all.

But anyway, my hairdresser recommended this place and told me that her hubby was supposed to be making an appearance there too. She’s hilarious and told me to act like we’ve known each other forever….even though I’ve never met him before in real life at all. Haven’t seen him yet unfortunately though!

This place is pretty adorable. It’s in a part of Dallas that I don’t really go to. It’s just south of Downtown but before Deep Ellum and there’s animal head on the walk — like a giant Moose. Super hipster here, I swear. I’m not sure if they’re real or not but still, it can be a little surprising if you’re not used to seeing it.

Honestly, I’m not sure if I’m a fan of the lattes here. The one I got tasted super weak and watered down but the for here cups are super cute. It looks like they’re about 12-14 oz, which seems to be pretty standard at a lot of coffee shops here!

Anyway, tell me about your lives! Let me know if there’s a new coffee shop in Dallas (or anywhere!) That I desperately need to try.
